It is a very brief, non-technical description of the research performed under that grant, and gives a glimpse of what kind of problems I have been working on recently. Harmonic Measure: Algorithms and Applications my contribution to the proceedings of the 2018 ICM in Rio de Janeiro. This gives a survey of topics involving planar harmonic measure, roughly from Makarov's theorems in the 1980's up to the present, with an emphasis on topics of interest to me: dimension of harmonic measure, rectifiability, hyperbolic 3-manifolds and Klienian groups, conformal welding, numerical conformal mappings, optimal meshing, dessins d'enfants and transcendental dynamics.

My research interests center on conformal geometry. Within this broad area I have worked on problems involving harmonic measure (conformal image of Lebesgue measure on the circle), Kleinian groups and Riemann surfaces (groups of conformal maps on hyperbolic space), Brownian motion (a conformally invariant random process), computational conformal geometry, optimal meshing, non-obtuse triangulation, numerical conformal mappings, quasiconformal maps, holomorphic and harmonic function theory, iteration of holomorphic maps, especially entire functions.
