There will be an early exam, two midterm exams and the final exam. The time of these exams is as follows:

What to bring with you: student ID, scrap paper, pencils. Calculators and cell phones are not allowed during the exam.
Material covered: This exam will cover the material of the first two weeks of classes, up to Section 1.6. Here are some practice problems for the exam.

Students who perform poorly on this exam will be forced to move to a lower level class.

Midterm 2

Material covered: This exam will cover all the material from section 2.7-3.7 and 3.9 Practice Midterm 2 Fall 2017 and its solutions

Final exam

Time: Wednesday, Dec. 13, 11:15am-1:45pm
Room: TBA.
What to bring with you: student ID, scrap paper, pencils. Calculators and cell phones are not allowed during the exam.
Material covered: The exam will be cumulative: it covers all the material we have covered in the class. As in the previous exams, you are required to write full explanation of your solution, not just an answer.
Preparing for the exam: The best way to prepare for the exam is going over all the previous exams and homeworks. Finally, you can use the Final practice test and its solution key .
