Exams
There will be two in-class midterms and a final exam.
Midterm 1
Date: Thursday, 9/29, in class.
Some information about the exam:
- It will cover all material we have studied up to Section 9 (inclusive).
- It will be closed book: no books or notes.
- Practice exam is here
- Some problems might require students to write a definition or the statement of a theorem.
Midterm 2
Date: Th, Nov 3
Some information about the exam:
- It will cover all material we have studied since midterm 1, namely: Sections 14, 15 -- Series; Sections 17, 18 - Continuous functions and their properties.
- You are allowed to bring the handout 1 (posted on the course web page) and one more sheet of paper with your notes (letter size, double-sided). No other materials are allowed.

Final exam
Date: Friday, Dec. 16, 11:15am-1:45pm
- Material covered: see the Review sheet
- You are allowed to bring the handout 1 (posted on the course web page); your midterms; and one more sheet of paper with your notes (letter size, double-sided). No other materials are allowed.
- For practice: check this practice final from 2013 (ignore problems 1f) and solutions. It is longer than the actual final.
- Some problems might require students to write a definition or the statement of a theorem.
