You should expect to spend at least five days each week, two hours each day on homework. Homework must be stapled, legible, and complete. Every question must be answered in the form of a complete grammatical unit, either standard English or standard math notation.

Homework will be returned in your discussion section. The lowest homework grade will be dropped.

You are encouraged to work in groups and study with your classmates. Work you hand in must be individually written and you are expected to be able to reproduce it on your own. In particular, in the exams I will assume that you know how to do all the homework assignments!

Please write your discussion section on the HW.

HW questions are listed HERE. Note that the dates correspond to which week we study the material. The hand-in date is always the Friday of the following week. For example, HW 1 has a due date of Jan. 19, and we went over the material the week of 1/8.
