For technical support with Blackboard and/or WebAssign, please call the Center for Excellence in Learning and Technology
(CELT) at 631-632-CELT (2358) and select option 3. Their staff works full time to provide the university community
with this type of techical assistance. Alternatively, you may submit a trouble ticket via a web form if your problem
arises outside normal business hours. You can also obtain technical support for WebAssign directly from Cengage.

The WebAssign system is programmed to give bonus points to students who finish any homework assignment more
than two days before it is due. The system is also programmed to allow you to repeat problems that you got wrong
the first-time round, although it will only give you full credit for a problem if you get it right on the first try.

The departmental notes are in PDF format. You will need Acrobat Reader or similar software to read them.
You can obtain a free copy of Acrobat Reader by clicking the following link to the Adobe Systems web-site.

DISABILITY SUPPORT SERVICES (DSS) STATEMENT: If you have a physical, psychological, medical, or learning disability that may impact your course work, please contact Disability Support Services at (631) 632-6748 or http://studentaffairs.stonybrook.edu/dss/. They will determine, with you, what accommodations are necessary and appropriate. All information and documentation will be treated as confidential.

ACADEMIC INTEGRITY STATEMENT: Each student must pursue his or her academic goals honestly, and must be personally accountable for all submitted work. Representing another person's work as your own is always wrong. Faculty are required to report any suspected instances of academic dishonesty to the Academic Judiciary. For more comprehensive information on academic integrity, including categories of academic dishonesty, please refer to the academic judiciary website at http://www.stonybrook.edu/uaa/academicjudiciary/.

CRITICAL INCIDENT MANAGEMENT: Stony Brook University expects students to respect the rights, privileges, and property of other people. Faculty are required to report to the Office of Judicial Affairs any disruptive behavior that interrupts their ability to teach, compromises the safety of the learning environment, or inhibits students' ability to learn.
