Course Description

Syllabus and Schedule

First class: Tues Jan 26, 9:50AM in Math 4-130.

The goal of this course is to cover the calculus (differentiation and integration) of complex functions of a complex variable, and to explore as many applications as time permits.

Text: Complex Variables and Applications by Brown and Churchill, Eighth Edition. McGraw-Hill.
Syllabus and Schedule: Material to be covered, schedule of exams, homework assignments.
Homework: will be collected at the beginning of the Tuesday class each week.
Exams: there will be two midterms and a final examination.
Grades: will be based on a weighted average: Final 40%, Midterms 25% each, Homework 10%.
