Exams
- MIDTERM I: March 4, in-class
- The midterm will cover chapters 1-6, 8, 9
- Closed books, closed notes. Calculators are not allowed.
- For practice, do these end-of-chapter Review Exercises:
- 7.3, 7.9, 7.14, 7.15, 7.19 (don't find the correlation), 7.23, 7.29, 7.31, 7.32, 7.34ab, 7.41, 7.47,
- 16.1, 16.2, 16.5, 16.9
- Solutions are now posted (warning: minor errors are unlikely but still possible)
- Also, go over all homework problems assigned, both black and blue
- Here is a sample exam from a few years back (ours may emphasize other topics,
though)
