Chapter 2 and 3.  FROM THIS WEEK ON, CLASSES WILL TAKE PLACE AT MATH TOWER, 4130 Chapter 2: Translate Prop. 2.2 and 2.3 (pag 51) to "shash" geometry and prove them (everything in shash terms) Exercises 6 (Only Prop. 1,4,5), Exercise 7, and Exercise 8.

11/26  History of the parallel postulate  Chapter 6  Project due on Tuesday: Choose one of the theorems we studied and write a detailed proof. (The proof should have at least 10 steps.) Each step must be numbered and justified. Your proof has to show that you "processed" the theorem and not just copied from the book. You must indicate the source if is not our textbook. The proof has to be based in Hilbert's Axioms.
