Subject: your video on web

Hi Joan,

I've edited your explanation of "Braids and Knots"
into a 3-minute "illustrated audio" sequence.

You can see it at

http://www.math.sunysb.edu/~tony/streaming/index.html

(requires RealPlayer which is freely downloadable if
you don't have it.)

I'll take it down if you don't approve, but I think
it's quite nice.

Do you remember what year that was?

Best regards, Tony

Dear Tony,

I checked the site a few minutes ago, but don't have time right now to
download RealPlayer. I'm sure that whatever you did is good, and I'll
check it more carefully on the next rainy day. It's wonderful that you
take the time to give this terrific publicity to knots!

Best regards,

joan

Hi Vaughan,

Ten years ago I videotaped you talking about knots. I have
now learned how to reformat the tapes I made into "illustrated
audio" files that can be sampled on the web. I've edited
one of yours (The Knot on my Shirt) and I'm starting another
(Knots and Satstical Mechanics). Please have a look at

http://www.math.sunysb.edu/~tony/streaming

and let me know what you think. If you don't like it or
the other one -when it gets done- I'll take them down.

Best regards,
Tony Phillips
