Instructions for using the applet
Each box in the toolbar indicates a different mode or function you can
perform. The currently selected mode has a darker background.

The move button allows you to move free elements (like the
points A and B) around, while maintaining the relationships between
the other elements.
|
 |
Use point to create points. If you drag the point over
another element like a line, it will force it to be on the line. If
you drag it over two lines, it will define that point to be the
intersection point of the two lines (or line and circle).
|
 |
This defines a line between two points. Click on the first point, and
then drag the other point to where you want it. If you drag it over
an existing point, it will use that point. If you drag it to the
intersection of two lines or circles, it will define the point as the
intersection point.
Note that after clicking the first point, you must keep the mouse
button down and drag the second point to where you want it to go.

 |
The compass lets you construct circles of a specified radius.
Click on a point at one end of a segment defining the radius, then on
the other end. Finally, click on the point where you want the circle
to be centered.
|
 |
This lets you undo an object you constructed.
