However, you must make sure you have access to WebAssign, which we will be using for homeworks and other aspects of this course.
Access to WebAssign is free for the first two weeks, and includes a web-based version of the textbook. But by the end of the the first two weeks, you will need to come up with an alternative.
- The campus bookstore sells a looseleaf (binder-ready) version of the text, together with access to webassign, for $151.45. But there are many other options.
- You can buy Webassign only, either with an electronic copy of the text or not. There are two pricing options: either with access to an eBook of the text ($79.70) or without the eBook ($44.95)
- You can buy a hardcover or softcover version of the text, new or used, online for between $85 and $120. Other students may sell it even cheaper. This will not include WebAssign, but buying this together with online access to WebAssign (no eBook) costs about the same as at the bookstore, and you have a real book instead of a binder.
- You can rent the textbook for about $20 per semester for a paperback copy. Note that this does not include WebAssign, but you can buy it separately, as above.
