Rough letter grade equivalents for midterm 1:
81-100: A
71-80: B
61-70: C
51-60: C- or D
0-50: F
Example: B+ is at the upper end of the range 71-80.
Similar rules apply to the grades of A-,B-,C+.
These grade equivalents are approximate and advisory. Your final grade will be obtained by averaging your numerical scores on the exams, quizzes, and homework, as described in the syllabus.
