MAT 132 Grading
Your grade will be determined by the maximum of the following two options.
- 20% Midterm 1.
20% midterm 2.
10% Homewrk.
50% Final.
- 20% the better of the two midterms.
10% Homewrk.
70% Final.
A missed midterm corresponds to a 0 on it.
A missed final corresponds to failing the class.
You are strongly advised not to miss a midterm unless you absolutly have no choice.
This scheme is really there to avoid discussions that start with sentences like
"I was sick last Friday...",
"I was having a really horrible week" or
"I had an emergency on the day of the exam and so..."
