Welcome to Linear Algebra! In Spring 2009, the course MAT 211 is given in the following three lecture groups:
This course provides an elementary introduction to linear algebra. It covers systems of linear equations, GaussJordan elimination, matrices and determinants, vector (linear) spaces and linear transformations, bases, dimension, the KernelImage theorem, innerproduct spaces, orthogonality, GramSchmidt orthogonalization, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, diagonalization. Algebraic objects are considered together with their geometric interpretations. Good luck!
