The course is a continuation of MAT 544, taught by Prof. Geller in Fall 1998. This course uses his notes (available from Solutions Publishing behind the campus bookstore) and will cover topics like: L^p spaces, Fourier series, basic functional analysis, differentiation theorems, and a brief introduction to PDEs. Grades will be based on weekly problem sets, a midterm and a final exam.
