The writer of the biographies for the Poster Project, Snyder is a doctoral student in English literature at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, currently working on a dissertation on the intersection of ethnography and fiction in British writings from 1885-1925. In addition to teaching courses in literature and composition, she has taught courses in women's studies for five years, an experience which has fortified her commitment to encouraging young women to achieve the fullest range of professional and personal successes possible in their lives.
